Thanks Robbie!

Clearancing the seat belt attach. Left side needed a minor flange tweak. Right side needed a hunk ground out. So much for symmetry, will try and make up for it with polish.

I decided to clearance them both.

I am slow, took me 2 hours. I like the original design better but it needs clearance.

Here is a pile of parts to deburr and edge finish:

I did remember to notch the skin for the hockey sticks. Skins are deburred, edge finished, ready to polish.

Edge tweaker tool and tweaked edge. I know the Robbie study says it is not required- but I have used this tool to good effect before. In the name of science I am trying it on the turtledeck and will let you know how it turns out.

One pass with F9:

This is before. I wiped it down with mineral spirits and smeared the first finger dab on the lower left corner:

Three overlapping applications on the first pass:

About 7:

Approaching the end:

My buffer looks like this between passes:

Here is a head on shot showing it has a ways to go:

The nice reflection is the same area as before, but helped by shooting at an oblique angle:

Here is the second F9 pass.

I have it wiped clean with mineral spirits and a new bonnet for the last pass. Suppose I should sleep though.
