Got #5 jammed in.

Got the right half of #1 in with Adam's help. Not sure how you solo builders managed that one.

Thanks!
Due to family logistics, I am losing my co-builder until Friday after dinner. I don't want to put in the left side former #1 solo. Back to polishing ruddervators. Did any of you nutjobs polish under the hinge?

No, I'm not that far gone...yet :-)
Just curious, what stage of polishing is that?

I do believe polishing under the hinges falls into the obsessive category. (Sorry Bryan, couldn't resist)

Sure does look purty though!

Thanks Robbie, confirms my suspicions. Darick, that is 3 ish passes of F9. I am now doing the F9 passes on the tops and then will switch to C.

Left side clecoed in.
Image

I put in a couple clecoes through the plate at top and will use Bob Meyer's trick of piloting from the other side. I clecoed the plate to the forward attach angle, taped it with the good duct tape, took out the clecoes and clecoed to the spine channel to locate it. Hope it is sort of straight.
